Overview
Project Description
Storyplayer is a digital marketing tool that allows merchants to create Instagram-like stories for their websites and target them to their users using the data from their Facebook pixel data.
I worked on the Alpha version of the product, designing the flow of campaign creation.
Scope
Creating a story is a 3 step process which includes - creating the visual content, assigning the target audience and launching the campaign.
For this case study, I’ll be focusing on the final step - the campaign creation.
Discovery
How Storyplayer works
The goal of storyplayer is to be a quick, simple, and easy-to-use tool for creating attractive stories. Users can just toss in their base image and spice things up with interactive elements and animations to make the story interesting just like Instagram does.
Once a story is created, they can run targeted adds on their websites. For this, they have to define the targeting parameters for a story set and then embed the final code.

Ideation
Feature Priortization
With a shorter time scope and technical feasibility, we decided to divide the product into 2 versions with the initial MVP only focusing on features that requires low effort but yields high impact. Our goal was to be quick to market and establish a benchmark attaining product-market fit.
Finalized after discussion with PM & CTO
Information Architecture
Once the features were finalized, I mapped out a high-level page structure for the whole process. This gave us an overall idea of the entire flow we were about to create.
User Story and Wireframe
I want to be able to create and publish a new campaign.

Given more time, the project could be further refined using initial user feedback.
More Customization
Advanced customizations such as font style, background, animation were planned to be added later on.
Activity and Version History
With teams support being added, it was crucial for users to see the history of changes that the team has done to the campaign.
